“By the Stream” is an easy, comforting refrain that sounds like it is based upon Psalm 1 but is actually drawn from Jeremiah 17:7-8. The image of a tree rooted deeply near a stream reminds us of the blessings of trusting in God. The song is best accompanied by guitar and/or piano.
